A Four-Day Visit, a 200-Million-Yen Watch Heist, and a Missing Three
Four watches worth roughly 200 million yen were taken from a shop in Nakano Broadway in about ten seconds. Two Chilean nationals were arrested; they entered Japan four days before the raid and told investigators they dropped three of the four watches on the way. Japanese boards treated the statement as an obvious cover for a handover and turned to how thin the physical security was.
