Xbox Game Pass Caps Cloud Gaming at 15 Hours a Month
Microsoft said that from November, Xbox Game Pass cloud gaming will be capped monthly—15 hours on Ultimate, 10 on Premium, 5 on Essential—with overage sold separately, ending what had been unlimited play. Japanese gamers called it a downgrade for paying subscribers; the widely shared '30 minutes a day' line is the monthly cap split across 30 days, not a daily limit, and the top-up price is still unannounced.
