Ukraine's president set a target of raising long-range drone strikes on Russia from an average of over 300 a day to 1,000. Asahi Shimbun reported that Japan's Foreign Ministry plans to resume short-term student exchanges with Russia in August. With footage of large explosions inside Russia circulating, netizens blasted the move as reckless, and some cast it as a national-security failure.
