Rejected Job Applicants Allegedly Funneled to Overseas Scam Compounds
A Hiroshima construction boss was re-arrested for allegedly funneling a rejected job applicant toward overseas scam compounds through 'tokuryu' crime rings, days after Thailand disclosed a border scam den where quota-missers were allegedly maimed or pushed into an organ trade. Both remain allegations, but together they fed a fear that ordinary job-hunting now leads to human trafficking—especially since Japanese people are among the traffickers.
