An Arson Arrest in Okinawa and a Wanted Man in Osaka
Police re-arrested a 32-year-old American man on suspicion of setting fire to a hotel in Chatan, Okinawa in the early hours of 15 August and trying to kill the guests inside; a man in his fifties from Osaka was carried out unconscious and is still being treated. On the same day, Osaka police released the photograph of a Vietnamese man wanted over a June robbery and attempted murder in an underground shopping street. Both are at the suspicion stage, and the threads treated them as one story about whether foreign suspects get charged at all.
