An Iraqi Militia Puts a $10 Million Bounty on Trump, and Japan Reads It as a Bad Gig Ad
An Iran-aligned militia in Iraq announced a $10 million reward for killing President Trump, citing the 2020 US strike that killed an Iranian commander. Japanese commenters treated it almost entirely as an empty announcement, arguing that nobody could carry it out and survive and that the money would therefore never be paid.
