Chinese Claims on Okinawa and Fears of an Influence Campaign
A claim circulating from the Chinese side held that Japan's territory covers only Honshu, Hokkaido, Shikoku, Kyushu and nearby islands, with Okinawa belonging to China. In the same week, a man speaking at an anti-Takaichi rally was said to sound foreign, and clips criticising the prime minister were said to be mostly Chinese-made.
