Hyogo House Raid and a Record 'Zombie Cigarette' Smuggling Bust
Two separate cases landed on the same day: about twenty people had been living in a house in Kato, Hyogo, and ten of them — seven Vietnamese and three Chinese nationals — were arrested for overstaying; separately, a Taiwanese woman was arrested over smuggling roughly three kilograms of liquid etomidate, the 'zombie cigarette,' a record liquid seizure. Netizens demanded deportation and tougher enforcement, though the two cases are distinct.
