A Chinese Rocket Explosion and the Risk of Japanese Being Detained
A Long March 7A rocket failed in flight on August 10 and footage of it exploding spread, along with video of a stage costume catching fire. That overlapped with an argument over travel risk to China, where Japanese who answer a summons and enter the country can end up detained. Mockery of China's technology mixed with a hard 'you brought it on yourself' stance.
